I was in today to pick up our A/C as the weather will be quite warm soon. I remembered my passcode and felt confident. Alas, after I'd take the A/C out of the locker, I locked my keys (car, house, office, STORAGE LOCKER, etc) inside the locker. UNhappy face. Patrick and Thu were so accommodating and with much compassion and humour, broke into my own locker where I was able to retrieve my keys. The wee price for a new lock was a small price to pay! Excellent excellent service at the Maple Leaf Storage on United Boulevard. Thank-you so much Patrick and Thu!!

I had a fantastic experience with Maple Leaf Self Storage! The facility was exactly what I needed—clean, secure, and very well-maintained. DO NOT KEEP your stuff here! Their storage facilities are NOT SAFE. We had our storage locker robbed, which can easily be done from the top of your unit (see attached photos). We lost $2000 + worth of stuff as someone just reached down with a hook and took our stuff. Unfortunately, nothing could be done as they only keep video footage for 14 days, and the facility holds no responsibility for your stolen items. I understand that they need some kind of hole for ventilation, but the way Maple Leaf does it is just reckless and they don't care to safely store your stuff. We recently switched to a storage facility that covers the top of their lockers with mesh wire, which feels much more secure.

I had a great experience renting the storage locker. The facilities have heat and are environmentally controlled. They are kept clean and regularly maintained to keep them pest free. The staff is very helpful, polite and kind. The security is good too. My items were kept in good condition. I would definitely rent another locker from this location when the need arises. It is a very convenient location too. It is great if you have a business and need to store extra product or supplies. Some items are not allowed for safety and health reasons. Also the facilities smell clean.

This was my first time having to rent a storage locker. I was faced with a very quick move and in need of a locker. The staff were very friendly and made the process very easy and reassuring that my belong were in a safe place. I would occasionally visit to drop off and collect things. Long time renter. Went Sunday night and found a pad lock on my locker. Was leaving for a trip next day and unable to access - learned it was an accident my management - no explanation given what why - costs me money to buy new stuff for my trip as management accidentally locked me out and were unwilling to compensate me for the goods I had to buy for a trip - only compensation was $25 which was pathetic (one day no access) but for time / replacement of goods - zero compensation. Employee “felt” I was mad in the convo and wasn’t at all - disappointing interaction and locking me out of my storage with a sorry ? Substandard.

Incredibly rude when I called for pricing and availible units and kept insisting that I give all information before he would tell me if there was even a unit in the size I needed available and what the price was. His exact words were "Is this too much for you giving me your information". No it isn't but I would like to know if one is even availible. After putting up with the condescending attendant it turned out one wasn't availible and what was availible was almost $100 more than others.

Our company has used this facility multiple times over the last several years, and we have never been disappointed. Every interaction has been personable, they've made the paperwork as easy as possible for us, and they've bent over backwards to work with us on moving in/out for type of unit we need, where it's located in the complex, and for the dates we need, even on short notice. Access to elevators and storage units excellent. Access to loading bay is mostly OK however there have been many times when there have been large trucks parked loading or unloading and they seem to think they are the only people in the world making passage a challenge. Too bad that there is no roof over the loading bay..........would make things a lot easier and more pleasant in liquid sunshine downpours. Staff always availible and ready to help

Choosing Maple Leaf Self Storage was the best decision. We needed a comfortable, safe, and easily accessible place to store our belongings while we faced the task of preparing our apartment for the Open House and sale. From my first contact with the company, the staff was always friendly and courteous. They explained to me in detail the procedure and security measures of the place. The place is spacious, illuminated, and safe. There are multiple platforms so you can easily move your furniture through the building. The elevators are spacious and clean and one can easily get around because there is a lot of information. The space we rented was large enough to hold the belongings of a 2-bedroom apartment. We were able to accommodate even the BBQ. Working with this company has been a very pleasant experience. I recommend it.

We have been long time clients of Maple Leaf Storage starting from 2001 when we sold our house in Coquitlam. We moved to Whistler and stored our furniture and belongings for at least 10 years in your Lougheed Highway location, and later in your False Creek location for another 5 years till 2016. We moved back to an apartment in Coquitlam in 2021 and decided to store excess items in your storage unit, mainly because we saw your advertisement about the 2nd month being free. Unfortunately when we signed up to rent the unit we were told the special offer did not apply to our chosen unit, as it applied only to the least popular units. It made me feel that it was false advertisement. It would be better if the advertisement actually specified the qualified units, so there would be no misunderstanding. Had I known, I would have shopped around and compared prices. Thought you should know that even a loyal customer could be disappointed with this kind of false impression.

We were warmly greeted during a nasty blizzard just before Christmas of 2019. We continued to be treated in a friendly and respectful manner throughout the storage period of one year. Everything was great, from service to billing, to closure of account. The unit was excellent and met our needs. Highly recommended!

Good Experience. Normal quirks that occur in any environment. The difficult part is dealing with other tenants on the property. Mostly, a personal thing. By and large the clientele go about there business without incident. Me being a loner prefer nobody around. Carts easy to get, washroom easily available, generally a very good facility. Management looks after and cares for the property. Thank you for letting me be a customer. Bill.

Staff are very helpful even at this time with all the extra precaution etc. the first time we moved in Kathyn ( I think that is her name ) greeted us and showed us what to do , and when I came back I couldn't open the gate she was around and just came over to show me what to do ,that was very nice of her the place is clean and tidy,..I would recommend to anyone that needs a storage .

The staff Terry were very friendly and helpful. He listened to my requested and gave some different options and showed me the storage units till I was satisfied. Because of my big moving truck, he was so caring and opened the gate and gave the truck a short easy cut. Terry is terrific !

Our first experience at using the Fawcett Road facility early last year was great. The staff are friendly and excellent at making you feel at home. So when we needed storage again unexpectedly, we went straight back there and again, the staff remembered us and were very accommodating on short notice. This is our go-to place for storage for sure.

Friendly and helpful Staff, clean building, and reasonable pricing. As a business owner it's also amazing that they accept deliveries for you and have a way to manage pallets and garbage. Many storage buildings do not offer this service.
I've been with Maple Leaf for 4 years now and have checked out a number of other storage offices because of a recent move out of the city. I'm back to MLSS ... this is the best deal in town.

My experience with Maple Leaf Self Storage was great. I needed a unit to store some of a relative's belongings, and then I needed another unit because the first unit was too small. They immediately found me another one the same day so the belongings could be moved in right away. Thanks Terry!

I have rented a storage unit for many years and by staying , I receive a good rate. The access hours are great. The facility is clean and safe as I've heard other companies are not very secure.The staff are friendly and professional and the free coffee and such is a nice perk. They offer moving supplies and locks etc.

Secure and accessible storage, particularly for using our trailer at odd hours and on weekends. Concern regarding the annual increase in rates but still the best deal around, particularly with the free month when fees paid annually. No complaints.

United Boulevard is a clean, heated and well organized storage. The people at the desk love the job they do and that is evident in their approach to anybody coming in. The beautiful thing is that each of the the elevators always goes up or down, so that on every floor always is an elevator waiting for you.

Long time storage customer (3 years?).
Seems as though the new owner is constantly increasing rates. That's my negative. Otherwise a positive experience. The front desk staff have always been friendly. When there was evidence of mouse activity, they quickly acted, and I have not seen activity in my unit in the 12 months since.

My partner and I have had varying units at this storage place for over 10 years and have been grateful for the good service, upkeep, pricing, customer service and management of this Maple Leaf Self Storage on Fawcett Road, Coq. I have just vacated my smallest unit I've had over the 12 years as I scaled down bit by bit. Again, I have nothing but good to say as this is one place I would always recommend. ....Be aware, not all storage units are the same and it feels good to know you are at the best.

We were in need of a quick storage solution and couldn't be more happy with the Maple Leaf Storage on United Blvd. They were courteous over the phone and even more pleasant and professional in person. In took only minutes to get set up and we were given a tour of the facility with all the explanation we needed to then get into the storage ourselves when we brought our stuff. The facility is clean and looks well maintained. Would definitely recommend them.
