The older staff are the only decent part of this place — everything else feels like a setup. The moment you walk through the door, you’re hounded for a review like they’re desperate to pad their ratings. Prices seem to change on a whim, and their newest money grab is a so-called “mandatory insurance” that covers absolutely nothing. When things go wrong usually because of their own mistakes they bend over backwards trying to pin the blame on you. The whole experience feels like one big trap.

Cindy and Cathy are awesome we needed a storage locker when we moved back to Calgary for a month before we took possession of our condo. Time and time again Cindy went out of her way to help us out. I can't recommend them enough other storage facilities try the bate and switch method giving you one price then changing a lot more not here we paid for two months because we were suppose to have a two month closing date originally but it got changed to one month. We prepaid and without hesitation she realized we paid for two months and offered a refund because it was only a month.... I guarantee other places wouldn't do that.

Maple Leaf is one of the best and most secure storage places I've used. Especially this location. The people are very friendly and helpful. Whenever I was there with Cindy Wice, it was lovely. She's helpful, kind and a great person to crack jokes with. Even though my unit contract is done, I kind of want to keep going back to hang out with her. Over all, excellent place. Would use again.
(Fyi though if people are looking, your rate does go up each year, which I'm pretty sure says in the contract, but just wanted to give a heads up in case you were unaware or looking for long term storage). Still worth it, regardless

I had an awesome experience finding a storage unit that fit my needs with help from Cindy. She gave a quick response after my initial inquiry, very friendly and knowledgeable.
She answered all the questions I had during the tour of the building, showing the different size units and explaining how the locks and security sign in/out works.
The facility is top notch, clean and a great location.

The initial request via email was simple and a great idea, the initial call from the office was even better the two women that I talked to were awesome, the point that I came into the office for my move-in appointment was also great, they gave me a tour showed me how to check-in check out, I was surprised at the level of security and the free coffee and cookies on Fridays.

On a professional level the on site staff at country hills are knowledgeable and are always very helpful.
On a personal level it’s always a joy to come in and see any one the girls.
Beyond the office level it would be nice if maple leaf would provide incentives(beyond bringing in new customers) and discounts for long term customers. If not for the customer service from the on site office I’m not sure if I would re rent a unit.

We rented storage unit back in March last year. After looking few places, we decided this one is the best with easy access, dedicated elevator, heated and secured. Units are spacious and no jammed hallways. There are few elevators and no waiting time when you need to store your stuff or move it out. Highly recommend this storage…

In the three years that we needed storage, we appreciated the excellent customer service and facilities provided at MLSS - Country Hills, which we felt had reasonable monthly lease rates. It was always clean and with plenty of light, and the building temperature was consistently comfortable, and access to both large and small utility dollies were very helpful. The process for signing in and out of the facility was easy, and the garage doors are easy to operate. Plus, we enjoyed the added bonus of the great 70s & 80s music playing whenever we were there!

I went to the NE location with a client from my work to store some of their stuff between moves. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The storage facility was big, clean and well organized. There are two sizes of trolleys available for use. I found it a bit inconvenient that there isn’t a garbage nearby for stuff that doesn’t need to be stored. I appreciate that the second month of storage is free.

Mid December 2023 I needed a storage unit on short notice, I have used this facility in 2020 and was amazing to deal with so decided to reach out. Both lovely amazing ladies in the office provided superior service, made my difficult move into a smiley one. I love how the facility is very clean and good security, has the dollies and flat beds to help you bring all to your unit. I made sure to bring them my peanut butter balls on the day of taking use of my unit as they are really that kind and down to earth good heart people.

We recently used a Maple Leaf self storage facility on Country Hills in the District and were extremely satisfied with our experience. The facility was safe and secure, giving us peace of mind knowing that our belongings were well-protected. Our contents were easily accessible whenever we needed them, thanks to the convenient business hours. The staff at the facility were very accommodating - especially Myrtle and provided great customer service. Overall, I highly recommend this self storage facility for its excellent security, accessibility, and friendly staff.

The whole process was handled so that it felt effortless. Over the phone the customer service team worked out the best arrangement for me personally and then in person at Calgary - Country Hills with Cindy was a blessing. She was so personable and helpful. She clearly explained the entire process, charges, my agreement and even personally showed me how to work the gate as I was having trouble. Right from the start, this was a smooth process. Kathy was great at explaining everything, super friendly. Building has super easy access to it. Grounds are clean, building is clean, well secured. Feel safe moving around in it. Although the process to enter and exit is longer, it’s great to know they have such strong security measures in place.

I opened up a storage facility two years ago. Myrtle was there to help me and guide me through everything. I had moved my 90-year-old mother from her place to a dementia locked ward, it was so stressful. Then my mom passed away two months later. This is a wonderful storage facility and close to home. But it is Myrtle that truly helped many times over, whether it’s taking me to a new and different locker, or just listening to me complaining about the stresses that I had.
I would like to give her five stars as well. She has AMAZING Customer service, and for that alone I would come back and use this facility.

This is our second time to use the facilities and I would say, the staff, services and the facilities are all above excellent. The Staff from are so accomodating to our needs, very well informed of their products and always cheerful, they never failed to answer my queries and request. The unit that we have is enough to put our stuff, the time and location are also wow factor because its close to our place and the convenience of time (closes at 9:00 pm) to load stuff after work. Super friendly staff! Tamara, Laura and all the ladies there treat you like gold. They are always helpful, courteous and respond promptly with any questions or information you have or seeking. The facility there is clean, easily accessible and offers a lot of choices on storage sizes. The three month special is also a good deal. It was actually fun to go there and lock up some goods for a period of time (especially when you need room to showcase your house for sale on the market). I'd never thought of using a storage facility but it turned out really well.

I was very happy with the service I received from the 3 ladies who run the airport location. They were polite, friendly and eager to help me. When I had a question that couldn't be answered on the spot they followed up by phone and email within a day.
I would recommend this wonderful, new, state of the art location for its facilities as well as its staff.
