I had a fantastic experience using this storage facility over the last three months. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional — you immediately feel well taken care of.
The facility itself is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and secure. Honestly, it’s so clean and well organized that you could almost live there. Access is easy and convenient, which made coming and going completely stress-free.
I always felt confident that my belongings were safe. I would absolutely choose this facility again if I ever need storage in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, secure, and spotless storage solution.

From our experience, this company seriously lacks basic respect and professionalism when it comes to customer service. The staff were often rude, dismissive, and made the whole experience feel uncomfortable. If being treated with decency matters to you, I would suggest staying away.
On top of that, there are some real red flags in how they do business. The way they handle contracts, and their clear ties to sketchy moving companies, raise major concerns. Whether head office is turning a blind eye or just doesn’t care, it’s a big problem. If you’ve had a similar experience, I highly recommend reporting it to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or another watchdog organization. You pay for a service; you deserve respect and security.
If you’re still looking for a good storage facility, I suggest checking out Nationwide Storage. They’ve been respectful, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The difference is night and day. Maple Leaf Storage, in contrast, doesn’t seem to reflect or respect any kind of cultural diversity. Most of the staff are white, and unfortunately, it really shows in how some customers are treated.
Also, before deciding, take a good look at the negative reviews. Many of the overly glowing ones seem off, and don’t match the reality many of us have experienced!!

I’ve rented a locker at 1818 Quebec St Vancouver for almost 20 years. The staff has always been very accommodating (we miss Bruce who retired recently) but the current staff, James, Rueben and Sachini are good to work with and go out of their way to be helpful.

As well, for your assistance and patience from elevator code access to VISA acceptance of funds, and your colleague's assistance, during the hours Smart Movers were unloading my move at MLSS. It went without a hitch, as always.
I have been a client of MLSS in Vancouver, BC, since the 1990's. At the time, there was a smaller storage facility in Yaletown. I have used other storage facilities in Vancouver and the lower mainland prior to and since, dependant mostly on a client's preference and not my own. Whether it has been personal or professional, I use MLSS always. I have never experienced better service than MLSS at any other facility. From the wonderful, knowledgeable and customer service driven professional employees including management, down to the secure, easy to access, clean, and well-designed high-quality buildings, it has always been a pleasure to do business with MLSS.

I met with James Bobik in person and via email regarding renting a storage locker at the Quebec St location.
He confirmed availability, price, and sent the application form.
A week later, I received an email denying my application. No reason given. I called him, and he states it was head office decision, and gave no help or advice. How can an application for a storage locker be denied? Does this happen often? He refused to answer any question.
Not sure how this happens. I had already arranged a move with delivery to their facility and now need to change everything for no reason. James hung up on me after giving some competitors. I'm upset and this place demonstrates the worst customer service. No reason, arbitrary, and this is after CONFIRMING everything is available. There is no conceivable reason to deny the application, its storing some condo furniture and I am a physician in the community with no credit risk or criminal history.

Because I had far more stuff to move from my 0ld 2 bedrooms to new Co-Op studio room,
I needed to rent a storage space from March. I was very lucky t0 find Maple Leaf Storage near my new Co-Op building in Vancouver, BC. Because I changed the size of the storage spaces to accommodate my need and I had to travel to out of country soon after the move in March till early May , I didn’t realized the original payment arrangement was cancelled till recently when I received the final notice from the collection office..
But your staff at the Vancouver office were. very kind and helpful to rescue me from the
worst situation.. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

What a joke, don't store with Maple Leaf if you have other options. Was sold on storing there by staff who claimed they hadn't had a break in since they opened. My unit was broken into about 1.5 years ago, stuff was stolen and Maple Leaf didn't even give a break on the rent for that month. Today I received notice that they are raising monthly prices for the second time since I was broken into, and they still haven't properly fixed some of the issues that were from the break in. Will be taking my business elsewhere as soon as it's convenient. Don't store with Maple Leaf if you have other options.

I've been here twice for packing supplies and they are always friendly, efficient and helpful. They even went out of their way to makeshift a handle for the huge boxes I was taking so I could cary them home more easily (I don't drive). On my second trip, they again made sure I could easily carry stuff home and insisted I take an itemized receipt so that if any of the bags/covers I got didn't work, I could return them. And they suggested items that were the best value for what I needed, held the door so I could easily get out (I am short and could barely see over my stuff, so that little gesture went a long way)...and their prices are great! WAY cheaper than Amazon. Customer experience wasn't top of mind for me when I was looking for packing supplies but I really appreciated it, especially when everything is so chaotic with a move.

The space was impeccably clean, and the easy access and logistics to load and unload made the move easy and quick. Had a great experience in-store with Constantine and Bruce. Constantine was very helpful explaining all the procedures, contracts, etc. This is my first time storing, and it was for my company during a move. They were both welcoming and helpful as I had to wait a long time for my movers to show up. The Quebec St. facility is very nice, and my storage unit had ample room for all our office furniture. Highly recommend to anyone looking for storage solutions in the central Vancouver area!

I’ve also had to change to a different locker size on a few occasions over the years to meet my changing needs. The staff at the Quebec Street location are always extremely helpful, easy to deal with, and the place is extremely clean and secure. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for storage solutions near the Olympic Village.

The team at Maple Leaf has been great. The facilities are clean, secure, safe, and the quiet classic rock radio in the background made each and every visit awesome. I've had storage lockers in other facilities before and this, and Maple Leaf takes the cake for overall experience of quality of security. Bruce M., the manager, is organised, accommodating and keeps the facility spotless. I stored my film equipment here for years. It was extremely safe, secure, and with great hours for available loading and offloading. The manager and staff are lovely, helpful, and supportive. I was often out of the country, but there was never an issue with my gear, or payments from offshore.
